Solstice Hammock Repose
First day of waning light, a lazy exploration of sky.
The Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year, brought hazy, rainy, cold weather. It felt more like the early days of spring. The day after was a perfect warm and windy day. After a busy day taking my daughter to the playground and for ice cream, I collapsed in the hammock hung between two birch trees in our yard. Here are the resulting lazy sky-capturing photos for which I did not leave my comfy, swinging rest.
